Voice lessons begin with vocal and physical warm-ups designed to simultaneously “wake up” and relax the voice and body. Kelley believes the foundation of great singing can be found in a healthy, relaxed voice, free from tension of any kind. Her current and past students have ranged from adult country singers, to public school choir students preparing for competitions, to five-year-old “Broadway babies.” Kelley’s first love as a performer and singer lies in the musical theatre world, but she believes a healthy, dynamic vocal technique can apply to musical genres as diverse as musical theatre, opera, choral, pop, country, or rock.
Most voice students benefit from 30 minute lessons once per week, for which the monthly tuition rate is $100.
